Joe has agreed to help me out and move forward with this as long as Karl is ok with it. Look at this example of a joint appt offer and either send joe your demands or I will pass them along to him so he can draft the letter. Bob may be stepping down sooner than expected because of Lin's health. If this doesn't happen before that then it would have to wait until the new dean and that would be less certain. Regarding the details, no participation in faculty meetings, including T&P, and no office in ten Hoor. You need to decide on an FTE and what kind of teaching you would do, if any.
